#DIY Hair Masks 1:- Aloe vera and Honey

To start, place the Aloe Vera leaf in water overnight. This helps remove the iodine content, which can cause allergic reactions on the skin. The next day, you’ll notice the water turning yellow. Simply rinse the leaf with warm water to remove any remaining iodine.

Next, cut the Aloe Vera leaf into pieces and extract the gel from it. Aloe Vera is a wonderful natural ingredient for hair because it contains over 20 minerals and various vitamins like B1, B2, B5, B6, B12, C, and E. These vitamins are essential for hair growth. The gel moisturizes your hair, giving it a beautiful natural shine. It also nourishes the scalp, helps eliminate dandruff and oily scalp, and stimulates hair growth.

Blend the Aloe Vera gel without adding any water since it already contains a lot of water. After blending, strain the gel to remove any white residue. This residue may resemble dandruff, so straining it will ensure a smooth consistency.

Now,  add 3 spoons of sugar to the Aloe Vera gel. The sugar acts as an exfoliant for the scalp, removing dead cells, dirt residue, and excess oil. Mix the gel and sugar for about 10 to 15 seconds. Sugar also stimulates hair growth, prevents weakness and hair loss, and softens your hair, making it easier to style. It restores the natural shine to your hair as well.

The remedy is now ready to use. Apply it directly to the roots of your hair and massage it in a circular motion. Then, distribute it evenly throughout your hair. Let it work for 1 to 3 hours before washing it off as usual. You can repeat this treatment 1 or 2 times a week. If you have any leftover mixture, store it in the fridge and use it on the third day.

#DIY Hair Masks 2:- Fenugreek

Now, let’s talk about another age-old remedy to treat hair fall and promote longer, stronger, and shinier hair—fenugreek mask.

To prepare a fenugreek hair mask, soak 3 tablespoons of fenugreek seeds in 2 cups of hot water. Leave it overnight, and by morning, the seeds will have swollen and the water will thicken, becoming slightly slimy. Separate the water from the seeds, and blend the soaked seeds to create a smooth paste.

To this fenugreek paste, add 1-2 tablespoons of coconut oil and mix well. Apply the mixture to your scalp and hair, 30 minutes before washing your hair. This mask will improve scalp health and strengthen your hair.

The soaked fenugreek water can be used as a hair rinse to condition, nourish, and add shine. After washing your hair, spray the fenugreek water all over your hair, leave it on for 5 minutes, and rinse off with plain water.

For those who prefer hair oil, you can make a fenugreek hair oil by combining 2-3 tablespoons of fenugreek powder with 1/4 cup of coconut oil and 1/4 cup of black castor oil. Mix well and massage the oil onto your scalp for 5-10 minutes. Leave it on for 30 minutes and wash your hair.

#DIY Hair Masks 3: Rice and Fermented Rice Water for Stronger and Healthy Hair

Utilizing cooked rice and fermented rice water also can contribute to stronger and healthier hair. The application of these natural ingredients to the hair and scalp for a designated period can yield beneficial results.

Cooked rice, is believed to enhance the strength of the hair. The nutrients present in cooked rice, such as vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, can penetrate the hair shaft and nourish it from within. This nourishment may potentially improve the hair’s structure making it less prone to breakage and damage.

Fermented rice water holds properties that can boost hair growth. Fermented rice water is created by soaking rice in water and allowing it to undergo a fermentation process. During fermentation, beneficial compounds are released, including vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. When applied to the hair and scalp, these compounds may support the growth of healthy hair by nourishing the hair follicles and improving their condition.

To prepare this mask, take 1 tablespoon of cooked rice and 2-3 tablespoons of fermented rice water to the hair and scalp. The application should be left on for approximately one hour, allowing the nutrients to absorb into the hair and scalp. After the designated time, the mixture can be rinsed off with water.
